Owner & Founder, Teri Kinne Events
Teri Kinne is passionate about celebration and philanthropy and its place in community. She is an award-wining event planner who has produced live events in Los Angeles for over 17 years. Prior to founding Teri Kinne Events (TKE) in 2011, Teri worked as an in-house event planner at some of Los Angeles' finest and most well-known cultural venues including the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, the J. Paul Getty Center and the Getty Villa.
Over the course of her career as a professional event planner and producer, Teri has produced numerous weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, corporate events, fundraiser galas and award shows throughout Southern California.
Teri now focuses on fundraising and celebratory events for well established, non-profit organizations and foundations. This includes design, production and management of annual galas and awards dinners, coordination of auction and pledge activities, as well as VIP appreciation events for top-tier supporters. In the last quarter of 2015, TKE produced a non-profit educational workshop, a first annual dinner event for a newly-launched community organization and a large award gala for 900 attendees. TKE’s client list includes the Methodist Hospital Foundation, One Heart World-Wide, the Grammy Foundation, the Westside Jewish Community Center, the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, Pasadena Playhouse and the Broad Stage.
Her volunteer work includes the Grammy Foundation Musicares event and Rosemary’s Children Services' "Star Chefs" event and The Ovarian Cancer National Alliance's "Turn up the Heat" fundraiser and she actively participates in the International Special Events Society, an organization of event planning professionals.
Teri is a native Angeleno and a graduate of Pepperdine University. When not planning events, Teri can be seen surfing, hosting gatherings for family and friends and visiting the elderly with her registered service dog, Buddy. She lives in West Los Angeles with her very well celebrated family.
